Working with Schools

The Catholic Children's Society has a long tradition of serving the needs of children in primary and secondary school environments.

Our Community Projects include Extended Schools programmes run in conjuction with a number of Catholic and other schools.

Many schools across our region are taking advantage of our Schools Counselling service meeting the needs of an increasing number of children affected by personal and emotional issues.

In addition to these services, we have an active relationship with many more schools. In fact, schools play a crucial part in our fundraising activities such as the Good Shepherd Appeal. In return we offer presentations and assemblies, raising awareness of children's and young people's issues, complementing citizenship and PHSE curricula.
